Av very nice forest to walk. The trail circles a large pond in the middle. There are some very nice Pine groves here.

My favorite local forest for a morning walk w the dog. It is a super nice hilly forest.. take the Huron Trail! It ends at Huron River Rd... walk across the street to see a large damn, A wide part of the Huron River resembles a pond here, There are more trails across the bridge too!.

It ends at Huron River Rd... walk across the street to see a large damn, A wide part of the Huron River resembles a pond here, There are more trails across the bridge too!.

Spring Mill Pond is a spring fed lake w a nice beach. Island Lk Rec Area has some of the best met bike trails around.. this place is abut 25 minutes away but worth the drive especially if you want to have a cook out and swim!
