It's hard to find food in Chattanooga that isn't southern or new American, but the Squirrel has a wide variety of hits (try the fried rice, garlic fries, and Salmon roll)! They also make some of the best drinks in town and have an impressive beer list.

It's a small bar nestled in a newly renovated, mid-century decorated hotel in the Chattanooga area. It has a cool vibe about it and offers up distinct, delicious cocktails.

If you want to catch a game and enjoy a casual vibe Clyde's might be a good choice. It gets crowded on the weekends, but if you don't mind standing in line or paying a cover, then it's a good spot to kick back.

Our favorite restaurant in town! Affordable, accessible Italian food in a modern, comfortable environment. They also offer up arguably the best pizza in town. Can't go wrong here.

Authentic Mexican in a little building a bit off the beaten path. A favorite among locals and for good reason. If you don't mind the sometimes variable hours of operation (they seem to open and close on a whim), it's a good go to for Mexican food.

A seriously underestimated spot serving up El Salvadorian food in a no-frills environment. You get a great deal for what you pay, and we haven't found an item we haven't liked.

Niedlov's is a local favorite that is a little less crowded that the trendier Mean Mug on the other side of Main. They make their bread in pastries in house, but they also have a really good selection of salads and sandwiches for lunch.
