2 min away. We love taking Krieger here for fetch, it's a beautiful medium size park with tall trees and open spaces. There are basketball courts, bbq pits, and picnic tables. When our nieces come to visit they spend a lot of time in the playground and splash pad.

Close by and very cool, it is a state park so you'll need to pay a fee if you're driving.

In downtown Spokane (about 10min away). One of our favorites. As the name suggests, the Steelhead salmon is top-notch. It's a smaller restaurant, so not the best for large groups.

Reserve a table on the balcony for a view of the falls. If you can't get one, at least take an intermission to walk down to the end of the catwalk. Perfect place for special occasions.
