The largest children's museum in the world and one of the best in the country. You can spend a full day here and not see it all. It's definitely worth a trip, especially if you have kids. It's 5 minutes from your stay.

Monument Circle is a nice place to take photos. You can go up into the Monument as well. Park a couple of blocks away on Meridian and it'll be a much nicer experience than trying to find parking on the circle.

Neighborhoods
Fountain Square is a great walkable neighborhood. There are tons of restaurants, shops, and bars. The historic building has Duckpin bowling on the top floor and a great rooftop bar. The Hifi is a great location for shows and the theater puts on different productions.

Fletcher place is also home to a couple of brunch/dinner spots that are popular in Indy like Milktooth & Bluebeard. The dugout is a good dive bar in the neighborhood.
