Lovely restaurant with farm shop, the restaurant also offers takeaway service too, the pudding counter is the biggest I've seen with all the puddings you can imagine on display which you can purchase if your too full to indulge after your meal. about 20 min drive from lodge.

The Sawalha family have been running the resturant for over 30 years, yes the family are cousins to actress Julia Sawalha and her loose woman star sister Nadia. The castlei s up a tiny track so be prepared for some of your finest Cornish reversing skills, the resturant offers middle Eastern food with unique ambience and views, dining at sunset is magical watching the sun set.

This beach is made of wonderful, thick soft sand, with a river running along the edge which is perfect to paddle in, sand dunes are perfect for kids to sand surf, we parked at Bowgie inn, pay and display car park and took 15 minute walk across cliff top to the beach then conquered the sand dunes down to the beach, toilets at car park.

We parked at Padstow Main Road car park about 15 minutes walk to town but we used the local bus in the car park (park and ride) which took us into town.

Padstow is a charming fishing port, surrounded by lovely beaches and shops, Padstow is famous for its food scene thanks to its celebrity chef Rick Stein and many others. We parked at Padstow Main Road car park about 15 minutes walk to town but we used the local bus in the car park (park and ride) which took us into town.
Shops
Convenience store 2 minutes away from the lodge, sells most things with fresh cake counter and warm homemade pasty's and local Post Office with in the shop. The photo above is not the correct photo of the shop.
