Sombrio is a little bit of magic, with great surf, cashing waves, secret waterfalls, picnic and camping spots, great hiking and beach walks and sweeping views of the Olympic Mountain Range and the Strait of Juan de Fuca.

Lake Cowichan is a beautiful inland destination, where you'll find fresh water sports, boating opportunities, dining and hiking. It's worth doing the Circle Drive and taking in the wilderness views along the way. SO much to see. It's a great day trip.
