Our newly renovated “Off the Drag” building features a plant-based kitchen with counter service and a dine-in/lounge area that can accommodate groups and larger parties.
Off the Drag Vegan Kitchen Open Wednesday thru Monday from 11am to 10pm.
Dad’s Bar Open from 5pm to 10pm Monday–Thursday & Sunday (closed on Tuesdays), and 5pm to 12am Friday & Saturday.

Alpin Bistro is tucked away in on SW 2nd St. The menu is limited, but food is great, and there are daily specials. If available, I would recommend the tuna quiche. There is a cozy, enclosed courtyard with palm trees if you want quiet.

ChopStix is located in a shopping plaza, hidden away from the traffic. Inside the restaurant the ambience and decor is nice, but if the weather is suitable, you'll want to sit outside in the courtyard. Recommendations: teriyaki chicken, or pad woon sen.

Even if you don't need to shop for groceries, I would recommend Ward's just for the experience. In season, Ward's sells locally grown produce. They are a small, locally owned market that has been around a long time.

Everything Else
This isn't a specific store or restaurant, but a town located about 20 minutes from my condo. It's a small town with several antique and arts and craft stores. There are two small cafes next to each other that offering a variety of things to eat. If you are a looking to get away to somewhere quiet and relaxing, this is the place.
