The small size of the place and its open kitchen give it a coziness that makes you feel like home. The restaurant is small, cozy and delicious. The chefs prepare their daily inspirations with fresh products from the market. To make sure they find the right way to enhance each flavor, there is only a few dishes on the menu. A few starters, two dishes, and one type of pasta that changes everyday. You will discover unique wines, and real products which will make your time there unforgetable!

The atmosphere of this restaurant is just great! The dishes are more Japanese inspired than really Japanese, but we loved it. We loved the tender eggplants cooked in miso with bonito flakes, the homemade gyozas and the lamb yakitoris. The lunch set menu is quite inspired as well, really colourful and all for for 15 euros. It is important to mention their amazing and sunny terrace, perfect to enjoy a glass of spritz in the summer!

La Maison Renardy is a real gem, lost between Matongé and the european headquarters. The dream place to drink tea or coffee, spend the whole afternoon talking while watching the rain against the windows. More than twenty different coffees, and more than a hundred types of teas, from everywhere around the world. The teapots are serverd with homemade chocolates, and a little hourglass comes with, to let you know when the tea is ready. All the teas are served by the teapot for 3,20 euros. If you choose to share one, you’ll still have at least two cups each, so its a pretty good deal. And of course, you can buy tea and coffee by weight.

One of the most traditional Italian restaurant in Brussels. About ten pasta dishes in total, served in amazing preparations such as chickpea mousse, italian ham, stuffed with ricotta cheese or pumpkin, or served with traditional italian sausage. The place itself isn’t too elaborate but never mind, you come here for what Italy does best, the food.
