Agora is a great place to go in the evenings for coffee and dessert or a glass of wine. Very cool hipster atmosphere. Also a great place to bring your computer and get some work done or get cozy with a good book!

Hugo's is on the pricier end but if you love Mexican food or are looking for more vegetarian friendly options, I love this place! Their ceviche is to die for and it's a perfect spot for a nice date night.

Riel is a wonderful high end restaurant to try that is right down the street (though it is a bit pricey). The atmosphere is wonderful and the seafood is incredible. I would recommend a reservation on the weekends!

Bacchus is right in your backyard and its a great place to check out. They have coffee, wine and light bites. If you are looking for a quiet place to work or study during the day, this is your spot! The atmosphere is so peaceful during the day. In the evenings, this place often has live music and couples dancing so it's a great place to go for a drink and a tango with your special someone!

If you like sushi, this place is THE best place to go. Make a reservation (trust me, you need one!) and then head next door for some drinks while you wait. It is pricey but so worth it, especially if you during happy hour. Their carmelized brussel sprouts appetizer is incredible.

Snooze has the most delicious, affordable brunch! There can be a bit of a wait on the weekends but it is so worth it.

They have a very cool atmosphere with two great patios, often have live music, and have delicious healthy options as well as great pizzas. This is a wonderful spot you can walk to for dinner, coffee, or even a casual glass of wine with some friends on their patio.

Anvil is my favorite place to go get a great craft cocktail. The staff is very friendly and the atmosphere is so hip yet classic. Definitely go for happy hour to get half off delicious, unique drinks!

This place has THE best beer selection in all of Montrose! Fun place to check out with lovely outdoor seating. It's connected to Underbelly, which has some great food as well and is slightly more high end.

The Rothko Chapel is a tranquil place to see some breathtaking, inspiring art. It is a great place to meditate, think, and absorb some minimalist art in a spiritual experience. Sometimes the chapel has events so be sure to check beforehand.

Stop by the Art Car Museum if you are going by the Heights to get a feel for the artistic side of Houston culture! Every year we have an art car parade with uniquely decorated cars and the best ones get a spot in this museum! Very fun for kids.

If you have young kids with you or you love science, you must take them here! This is such a fun science museum. They have an incredible standing gemstone exhibit and buttery exhibit in an awesome atrium.
