Used to be an old mining town. You can take a tour of the silver mine. There are also a lot of art galleries and fun restaurants. In the winter it is a great ski resort.

The iconic Salt Lake Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day saints. It is an incredible piece of architecture especially since the pioneers built it in their poverty. The church also has a wonderful visitors center there with informative docents.
