The teahouse was a gift from Boulder's Sister City...and we played in the final fundraising concert to finish our gift of a cyber cafe back for them! Their tea list is a mile long, but our favorite is the house chai, hot or iced.

The baristas at Boxcar take their coffee VERY seriously! There's also a great meat and cheese shop called 'Cured' in the space so you can grab a picnic to go for later.

Ozo is the fastest-growing small coffee shop in Boulder! When I was in labor and Randy was up all night, they opened their doors on Christmas Eve for him to grab a mocha to get through the next 12 hours of labor...and then we got the best Christmas present ever..Eliza!

We love walking to Proto's from the house and sitting on their patio for sangria (red or white), special arugula salad (weekends only), and then a thin, crispy, hot from the brick oven pizza. Mix the oil and vinegar on your plate and dip with each bite. Faves = Randy: Atomica, Amy: Low Rider, Eliza: Margherita.

Be prepared to wait 45 minutes - 2 hours for a table here on the weekends, but put your name on the list and then take a walk on historic Pearl Street Mall while you wait for a text to let you know your table is ready. The benedicts are AMAZING!

This iconic pizza place on "The Hill" in Boulder is where Barrack Obama visited unexpectedly and spilled frozen yogurt on a co-ed's shoe. Seriously, the pizza is the best! They've also got great burgers, and you can take a walk on CU's beautiful campus just across Broadway to the east.
