It's an easy ride on the train from Lower Sydenham station, turn left out of the station and there you are! Visit the National Gallery while you're there and afterwards just walk down Whitehall and see Big Ben, the Houses of Parliament and Westminster Abbey.

It's always buzzing! Walk along the Southbank, grab a bite to eat, ride the London Eye if you like, get some frozen yoghurt, watch the skateboarders, visit the bookstall, watch the buskers, or just chill.

It's an easy walk from Charing Cross. There's a lovely market with all sorts of stuff to buy. There's loads of places to eat or drink and there's always a good show put on by London's talented buskers. It's a great place to visit.
