Good breakfasts. Portions are BIG. The restaurant will let you split one entree between two people. That makes this a very affordable breakfast place.

Great food with beautiful views of Bass Lake. It's a wonderful place for breakfast or brunch and just a short drive away.

Excellent food!! Check out the menu on-line at https://www.narrowgaugeinn.com/dining. You may need reservations during the summer. It's a little further drive but worth it if you want a special meal.

You can tell from the parking lot that El Cid is a very popular Oakhurst restaurant. It offers big portions of good basic Mexican fare and awesome margarita's. Their albondigas soup is really good too. It can handle a lot of diners so you may be able to get a table here even when the parking lot looks full.

Their albondigas soup is really good too. It can handle a lot of diners so you may be able to get a table here even when the parking lot looks full.
Parks & Nature
Without a doubt this is one of the finest national parks in the US. It's not to be missed! Yosemite Valley can get congested during the summer but the park is huge and you can find wonderful hikes & gorgeous scenery elsewhere in the park too.

Fun place to visit to get an idea of the area's past. Their annual "Music in the Meadow" fundraiser is a lot of fun. It's a chance to eat, drink beer, and socialize while listening to great music. Bring folding chairs.
