Sushi Den & Izakaya – these are actually 2 different restaurants but they share a kitchen. Sushi Den is one of the best restaurants in Denver, they fly in their fish from Japan daily. Izakaya is a sister restaurant which focuses more on Japanese small plates/tapas but also serves great sushi. The local secret is that while Sushi Den can have a long wait, Izakaya is usually easier to get in to and also takes reservations.

Awesome pizza, pasta and salads. One of the best happy hours in Denver. A lovely shady patio is amazing on hot summer days.

Closest restaurants just a couple blocks away. Atticus is a cozy restaurant with a fire place and great food. Rosedale is more of a bar but also with good food. They have $1 oyster happy hour on certain days. Also serve brunch.
