The surrounding area offers many parks and trails for walking, mtn. biking and dog walking.
Bannock Mtn. can be viewed from the camp and is just a few minutes drive. A mile long dirt road, with a slight incline and a short segment of steeper pitch near the top is approx. a 30 min. walk. The top offers 360 degree views of the hills and mountains, including looking over Clearwater Lake.

A 160 acres of trails, a pond and views of Mt. Blue are located just .5 mile from downtown Farmington on Titcomb Hill Rd. Flint Woods is part of the Powder House Hill Trails Network and is owned by Bonney Woods Corp., Maine's oldest land conservation group. The woods are comprised of Flint, Bonney, Village and Horn Woods.
