Accessible only by water, Sidney Spit, a part of Gulf Islands National Park Reserve is one of the region’s best places to lose yourself for the day. Take a 25 minute scenic ride on-board the Alpine Sidney Spit Ferry. Salt marshes, tidal flats and beautiful beaches make Sidney Spit a great time for beach-combing, hiking, camping or just soaking up the sun.
Check their website for details before you decide to go. There is no drinking water on Sidney Island. Overnight camping is by reservation only.
