Walking distance beach - just ten minutes downhill from the apartment. Great for kids, swimming, body/skim/boogie boarding as well as surfing if you feel up to it (surf is unpredictable here).

If you want to take a trip into San Diego or up to Santa Barbara (or in between) this is the train station (right at the beach, walking distance from the apt).
