DC is somewhat lacking in decent Mexican taqueria style establishments, but this one of the best. Try the carne asada tostadas or carnitas tacos - they are my favorites!

This is by far my favorite budget friendly Thai restaurant. Generally very spicy, so not for those sensitive to spicy foods. I highly recommend the chicken stuffed in tapioca for an appetizer and the Thai vermicelli in chili peanut sauce.

A well-timed opening in 2020, when grocery stores and their steadfast employees throughout the nation and world over, realized they could and would provide many Americans their primary food source, they became one of the most crucial elements to our pandemic survival.
This is the closest grocery store to the house, and they’ve got everything you could possibly need. Be careful of pricing, of course, but know there are always great bargains on food, wine, beer, etc. Since it’s new, the store is impeccably clean, and social distance rules are strictly enforced and practiced here.
