It's a beautiful bike ride around the lake and in the early evening the sunset is gorgeous. I love picnicking at the lake and watching the water birds, especially the pelicans when they are in town. I actually love this lake on rainy days, as well. It's less people and so quiet. If you need a bike or a scooter, the lake has a good selection.

Mockingbird Station is just up the road from my house. It has great clothes shops, a wonderful furniture store, Star Bucks, amazing food choices, and a theater. It also has a wonderful nightlife.
