A bit of a drive (around 30 minutes) from the house but definitely a unique dining experience. Great salad bar. Be sure to get your selection "on the rock" They bring out a superheated rock where you cut up and cook your own steak/chicken etc. just the way you like it.

Moderate hike to some very nice views. Also recommend hiking a little further to the ice beds trail. The Appalachian trial is also a short hike from the picnic area.

Very nice place to spend a few hours seeing where a former President grew up and lived a major part of his life. Step back in time and explore this interesting historical site and his final resting place nearby.

Take Okemo Mountain road up to the parking area and then hike to the summit from there. It will save you the $$ it costs to ride the lift up in the summer for the same views. Be sure to go over to the firetower and climb that for 360 degree views of the area.

Short drive from the house. Take buttermilk falls road to the near the end and park short walk down to the falls. Not big by any means, but a close sightseeing stop.
