Very nice park in central Makati where there are a few restaurants and one of the few bigger green spots in Makati, though not bigger than you can always see the traffic from the park. But a nice to go to for a bit of green surroundings and piece and quiet.

Best place in Philippines to eat Japanese food. Its a bit hidden in a courtyard in the back of some buildings. Once you enter, it is literally like entering a small Japanese city with several restaurants in there with possibility to sit inside any of those restaurants or in the middle in the common area of all there restaurants where you can enjoy the nice ambiance of the place. One of our favorite places to eat.

Great food, varied menu - Can recommend the Tourched Salmon :) the ambience is really nice at this place. They also have a coffee shop like area in the back of the restaurant.

Great Spanish wine restaurant that has a nice ambience and relatively cheap good wine. Its located within Greenbelt which is a nice area to walk around after as well.

Really nice place to get a drink at night, especially busy on Thursdays but any night really works. Its a place where plenty of foreigners living in the Philippines usually go.

Take a day trip to Corregidor Island and get to know about the history of the Philippines. One of the great historic places in Philippines with culture and history of the country. Definitely worth a day tour which usually include a buffet lunch. You need to go to the port area just across from the Cultural Centre of the Philippines to find the boats going there.
