The Bowlo is a great place to have dinner and its even got a play space for kids they have awesome deals and kind and friendly service. The Asian inspired menu is DELICIOUS and they have the cheapest drinks in town, plus they have a courtesy bus, children must be over 10 years to go on the bus though. https://avocabeachbowling.com.au

The best Fish and Chips around, as voted by the Central Coast. Located right on the beach, it has great views, you can borrow a picnic rug, BYO alcohol and they have live music some nights of the week. Eat in or Take away you will not be disappointed here!!!

Obviously our favourite of all the choices on our coastal strip. Fabulous beach for families, easy access to bathrooms, kiosk, fish and chips, bar, and surf club. The beach does have a couple of strong rips so please stay within the flags, I am volunteer Surf Life Guard here and I don't want to have to save you :) The beach is patrolled 7 days a week from the Surf Club end. There is no patrol at the shark tower. The rock pool is awesome for kids, but best not to take them in on low tide as there tends to be sea lice in the shallows and the kids are bound to be stung. If they are, I have left some soothing cream for you in the cupboard above the oven.

Drive over the hill to Copa and up to Captain Cook lookout for breath taking views over the ocean. During whale watching season this is a go to to spot the majestic creatures cruising along the coast but anytime of year is a breathtaking look from this lovely spot.

Erina Ice Arena is a great place to skate its got lessons, games,brithday parties and free skate sessions. If you need some help the ice skating teachers are very kind they'll teach you new skills or have got different levels for different types of skaters
