The BEST fish taco place in San Diego. While it is in a bar (lots of beers on tap), the food is actually very good. Views are fantastic in the late afternoon if you want to catch the sun setting out over the pacific. Parking is kind of tough in Ocean beach, but doable. Uber/Lyft might be easier, especially if you plan on drinking. Far away from tourists.

Deep Dish pizza at it's very very best. While a large pie is expensive, there is a lot of food there!!!

Great coffee shop just down the street from us, beans come from local roaster in Ocean Beach. Croissants on Saturdays and Sundays for the early birds.

Hole in the wall Thai, but the most original thai food in San Diego. Pricing is very good, you may have a wait if you go during peak times as there are only 6 tables

I believe the best steak place in San Diego. However, really bad idea to go with car if baseball game is being played at home (it is close to the park). But worth the effort.

If you ever wanted to go bow to stern on an aircraft carrier, the self-guided tour is great. Will take you at least 4-5 hours to go through the whole thing

Don't forget the tide pools on the Pacific side. Simply a great place to go for a day. End up in Ocean Beach for dinner, great eats there!
