There are 2 major ski resorts on the mountain. Please pick up the Local big Bear guide or stop into the visitor center when you arrive so you can figure out what you want to do and or see or maybe you just want to relax. There should be a visitors guide @ the cabin for you to pursue.

I love the LOCAL Market that is close for just needing an item or two. they also have a HOT deli with decent food.
Only about 7 blocks away. I walk here when I'm in town and love the feel of a small community market.
