Essentials
This Netto is very nice and I think the best in Copenhagen because of its size and the wide range of groceries. I would especially recommend the stuff you can get from Løgismose in Netto if you’re into gourmet and organic stuff. Løgismose is this estate that produces lots of different high end foods and sell it by their shop at Kastellet (close to the Little Mermaid). It’s very expensive at the shop but because of their cooperation with Netto you can get many Løgismose products in Netto without having to pay that much for them :)

There's a huge Føtex on Vesterbrogade where you can get almost everything. It’s a bit upscale but a nice place to do grocery shopping. If you’re going down on Vesterbrogade towards the inner city it’s on the left hand about 100 meters from the apartment. There's also a bakery and a post office in Føtex and on the second floor you can get everything from electronics to clothing at budget prices.

If you’re going down on Vesterbrogade towards the inner city it’s on the left hand about 100 meters from the apartment. There's also a bakery and a post office in Føtex and on the second floor you can get everything from electronics to clothing at budget prices.
SuperBrugsen is located at the end of Matthæusgade which is a high end super market which have the best selection of organic foods and products and have great discounts on organic food at certain week days (I can’t remember which ones at the moment). This is also a very nice place to do grocery shopping and if you’re vegetarian or vegan SuperBrugsen also has a wide range of vegetarian and vegan foods like vegan minced meat and vegan meat balls and cheese and stuff. There's also a bakery in SuperBrugsen.

Getting Around
Bike is always preferred in Copenhagen but the Central Station is a great way to connect to different kinds of public transport and get around in CPH and around.

The greatest concert venue in Denmark. Lille Vega for smaller concerts (500 people) and Store Vega for bigger concerts (1550 people). Beautiful and historical building and fantastic sound. Ideal Bar (200 persons) is also a part of Vega which is a nice bar with cool events and intimate concerts.

Here you can try classic Danish dishes with a Hof (working class nickname for a Carlsberg beer) on the side together with the working class hard hat types, the hipsters and the old folks. Smoking is allowed in one half of the restaurant which is probably the only place left in CPH where you can eat and smoke at the same time. VERY AUTHENTIC AND YET HIP AS HELL!

Frederiksberg Have (Garden) is a park on Frederiksberg next to Copenhagen Zoo. The park was built by Frederik IV around Frederiksberg Castle in 1749 and now houses both remains of a baroque garden and a romantic landscape garden.
