Grab the train ( Renfe cercanias) in Passeig de Gracia, towards San Celoni... get off at Santa Maria de Palautordera station, there will be a bus waiting for you ( Sagalès) and visit one of the most traditionals little towns of Catalunya, in the most authentic way... Eat a nice Butifarra ( catalan home made saussage) then go walking all the way up the hill to the castle... And you though only Canadà had nice forest? you are soooo wrong.

It is said that during the Spanish plague in 1918, the jewish survived in these roads because they had cats. The oldest sinagoge is here. I think it is because they bealive in a live God that looks after his people:
"Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust. You will not fear the terror of night, nor the pestilence that stalks in the in the darkness, nor the plague that destroys at midday" Psalm 91.

It was burned several times.... and you will listen to the bells from your room... isn´t it amazing???? to good to be true. There are guitar shows for a fair price.... but you can visit for free....

Well, he was a very famous businessman and politician, In Barcelona and had Gaudi the famous architect build a house for his family... included furtiture and all...... is just amazing... and Mrs Güell, didn´t like the style.... to " rococo" for her stile. I can imagine... we are talking of 1919..... Today? across the street from La Rambla.... Don´t miss even taking a picture.... from the street.
