The Anchor is a fairly large restaurant pub located by Tintern Abbey. It makes a good place to eat after the walk to the Devils Pulpit or a visit to the Abbey (or both). There is a good menu at reasonable prices with a nice friendly atmosphere which is cosmopolitan reflecting the many tourists visiting rather than all local folk (which can sometimes be intimidating for visitors).
