Food Scene
This restaurant is great if you like Cuban food but also like to experiment with your food (as it is Cuban with Peruvian and Korean influences). My personal favorite items are the Mac and Cheese, the Tostones Topped With Vaca Frita, and the Grass Fed Oxtail in Merlot Reduction.
This place can get pretty packed at night, so I would recommend going there either for lunch or for an early dinner (6pm) if you don't want to have a long waiting time.

I love going to this bakery to get breakfast on my weekends. They have great café con leche (which is a must try Cuban version of a latte) and what I consider the best tequenos de queso (also a Cuban snack/breakfast item).

This is a gourmet cookie store that opens in the afternoon and like the name suggests, is open until very late at night. You can satisfy your late night sweet tooth by either heading over to their store, or by having the cookies delivered. They are also on UberEats. My personal favorites are: Ave Maria, Couch Potato, and Dark Chocolate Smores.

Night Owl Cookie Co.

You can satisfy your late night sweet tooth by either heading over to their store, or by having the cookies delivered. They are also on UberEats. My personal favorites are: Ave Maria, Couch Potato, and Dark Chocolate Smores.

Drinks & Nightlife
This is probably my favorite bar. It has plenty of free parking and they are always playing very good music. They usually have a band of some sort performing earlier on in the evenings on the stage behind the main bar and then switch to a DJ in the later hours. Since the music is really good here, it tends to become a nightclub of some sort later on in the evenings.

They usually have a band of some sort performing earlier on in the evenings on the stage behind the main bar and then switch to a DJ in the later hours. Since the music is really good here, it tends to become a nightclub of some sort later on in the evenings.
Sightseeing
This is a very unique experience and in my opinion a must do at least once! You get to go on an airboat ride around the Everglades and if you go during the right time, you might get to see alligators. The best part of this, is that it's a fairly budget friendly activity as you can typically get a Groupon voucher for this.

This mall also has many great restaurants like Kobe (Hibachi place), Texas de Brazil, Cheesecake Factory, PF Chang's, etc. There is also a Cinebistro if you feel like treating yourself to a luxurious movie experience, or a Cobb theater if you want a cheaper alterntive.

Dolphin Mall Bus Station
This is an outlet store so many tourists usually come check out this mall and will even be shopping around with a suitcase so they can fill it up with their goodies. This mall is right across from Dolphin Mall, so if you want to make it a day of shopping this is a great second stop that won't require a lot of driving. Unlike Dolphin mall, this mall has a Macy's.

Entertainment & Activities
This is by far my favorite movie place! They recently remodeled the theater and put large reclining chairs in all of the rooms. They also have very competitive prices so it's actually cheaper than the traditional movie theater. They also have special rates (their best being a little over $5.00 if you go early in the day during the weekends). You also get a student discount any day of the week (unlike many other places). The only downside is that they can sell out shows pretty quickly, so I would recommend checking out the availability online before heading over there.
