Right on the waterfront of the river Elbe, Hamburg is building a new concert hall – the Elbphilharmonie...worth taking a boat around it. Its an attraction, not only because it sunk millions of taxes.

A must! The "Fisch Markt" is visited on Sunday early morning 7 - 9.30am from tourists and locals alike to eat fresh fish sandwiches & buy goods. Highly recommended for first time visitors!

Its a bar and a restaurant with great rating. The restaurant usually requires booking but the bar left to o it serves about 100 different Whiskeys, Gins and Rums. Highly recommended!

Go to the "Portugiesenviertel" for great Spanish or Portuguese food (Tapas, Fish etc)! Its an entire area with great restaurants. A must-go and close by.

Its disgusting and awesome at the same time. That place is a must for people going for a quick burger between clubs or finishing their night. It became a weird tradition for locals.

Really weird but great east european (polish/russian) restaurant. Went there with a polish freind who was amazed. Good quality food. Might have to reserve seats, its usually full in the evening.

Bar with ome vegan & some regular dishes, nice beer, simple atmosphere. Good to have a quick meal before heading out - I didn't really get the vegan currywust but according to a collegue it was good.

Appareantly a place to get burgers. Crowded and good looking, close to city center shopping area. Haven't been but want to, its always crowed. Not far from the Sushi place I mentioned.

Strangely small and awkward place to have a orginal currywurst - this place is famous and you wouldn't run across it by accident. Close to the bar area at the Karoviertel.

Simply a very "unique" St. Pauli launderette close by. You can see funny people there and have a drink while waiting around. Rememeber to bring only single 1 € and 50 cent coins, 3,50€ per wash
