However, for those willing to walk just a bit beyond the beaten path, the newly opened Oriental Soup House in District XIII strikes a beautiful balance between good value and great food.

However, for those willing to walk just a bit beyond the beaten path, the newly opened Oriental Soup House in District XIII strikes a beautiful balance between good value and great food.
When opening the Sovány Vigasz confectionary in Újlipótváros, the goal of Klaudia Csurpek was to bake healthy cakes that don’t lack flavour. Her creations are gluten-, lactose- and sugar-free, but make no compromise. It’s worth tasting one of her cheesecakes or chestnut creams even if you don’t follow any specific diet. The confectionery was so successful in its first years in Budapest that by now it has become a chain, with outlets in Budaörs, Pilisvörösvár and Győr.

BITE Bakery Café opened on Nyugati Square in 2013 proffering pretzels, tasty rolls topped with mascarpone, and delicious coffee concoctions; stepping inside, enticing scents welcome visitors, and the counter is full of generously filled, additive-free pastries. Since the opening, BITE has also introduced pretzel sandwiches, salty pies, and homemade muesli to their repertoire. The selection boasts pretzels, tasty rolls generously filled with mascarpone, and delicious coffee concoctions. We recommend to try all of the pretzel variations from plain to bacon and cheese-sausage. Furthermore, guests can also taste delicious cocoa rolls in various sizes.

Mandala’s XIII. district studio is located a few minutes away from WestEnd. With its 400 square meters, it is the largest of these studios, and has two great training rooms (Motion Room, Life Room) in addition to the changing rooms with showers, and the training room, which is equipped with a projector. We can choose from Ashtanga, Hatha, pregnant, spinal, women’s and flow yoga classes, which are well divided between the rooms, so we are sure to find the right time and type of yoga.
