Parks & Nature
7 min by foot away is the enormous and very special Centennial Park, a refuge from the busy-ness of Sydney life. You will not believe that you are right in the middle of a bustling city. See native water birds nesting in estuaries, black cockatoos, bats hanging from trees and all set amongst a mix of beautifully landscaped gardens and areas left to grow wild. Many play grounds for kids including the famous WildPlay Garden. Lots of picturesque places for picnics. Bike paths and rental bikes, running trails, a cafe, restaurant and food van are also within the grounds. Not in any guide books but our guests love it.
