The best coffee around. Their roasting is lighter so expect to find some really bright nuance to your daily fix. They're also opening up a shop a few hundred feet from the apartment!

Also great coffee and closer by until Tandem's new shop opens. Their beans are wood roasted which gives their coffee a special warmth that is hard to find.

This restaurant is the little sister to Portland's Grand Dame of dining, Fore Street. We love the food here even more than Fore Street which is a bonus because it's easier to get a reservation!

Amazing authentic Mexican food. If you want great enchiladas and other staples without any fan fare then this is the place to go. It is a bare bones interior. Good place to watch soccer

This is the opposite of Taqueria Tequila. It has ambiance and creative twists on favorites. A little bland for our taste but sometimes it does the trick and it's all what you're looking for.

The best oysters in town and oysters are serious business here. They're lobster rolls are also a great break from the traditional mayo lobster salad served everywhere else.

It's fun to take the mail boat and see all of Casco Bay (you can bring drinks and a picnic). It's a quick Ferry ride to Peaks or Great Diamond which both have restaurants.

If you want to visit Chebeague Island the easiest way is to take the Ferry from Yarmouth (about 15-20 minutes away). We love to take the Ferry out and have drinks and small plates on the inn's porch
