For visitors who are already fond of the Gastro Strip at the Capitol Commons Park, or those who simply want to go food hopping, the new restaurants in Estancia Mall is a necessary stop that compliments the restaurants in Gastro Strip. In the Japanese language, ‘Haru‘ means ‘spring‘. Such a sweet and romantic name to call a restaurant, and quite easy to remember too. No wonder Haru Sushi Bar has established itself as Kapitolyo’s friendly neighbourhood Japanese restaurant. Much like how the Japanese restaurants in Little Tokyo are frequented by people in the south, I feel like every person who lives in Pasig knows and loves this place.

Parks & Nature

Adventures in Parklife It's a big city out there and it's growing at an exhausting pace. And when you find yourself always following the same crowd, sometimes it helps to follow your own trail. Sometimes, all you need is the right fix to keep you going. Whether it’s a refreshing dip in the pool, the adrenaline rush of scaling walls, or just the inner calm that comes with communing with nature, whatever your fix, you can find it in Rainforest Park. And when your visit comes to an end, you may leave a trail behind you, but Rainforest memories would remain with you all the way back to the big city. It’s not a long way away. Go ahead. Pick a trail and find a fix.

The Lopez Museum is both a gallery and library located at Benpress Building in Ortigas Center. As a gallery, it displays artistic works of both modern and past artists. There were a lot of paintings from Felix Resurrecion Hidalgo and some old photographs of the Ilustrados. Security is really impressive here given that a lot of historical items are found here. Good thing they allow photographs to be taken, under one condition: do not use flash. The reason is that camera flash accelerate the deterioration of old items because of heat it generates. In this museum I took photos of "historical items" only. Though modern artists convey Filipino Culture partly, they'll have to wait more before bein
