Dim-Sum restaurant with a korean fusion theme. Really great food and good service. Have vegetarian options as well! They have a sister restaurant at Kastellgatan 14 in the neighbourhood called Linné. Both are great but the one at Surbrunn is much closer to the apartment.

If you want to have a great breakfast close to the apartment Brogyllen is a great alternative. They serve a breakfast plate for just under 100 SEK and it includes fresh bread, ham/cheese some vegetables, yoghurt, egg, juice, coffee/tea and a croissant. Good value for your money and one of the best cafés in town, food quality wise.

They serve a breakfast plate for just under 100 SEK and it includes fresh bread, ham/cheese some vegetables, yoghurt, egg, juice, coffee/tea and a croissant. Good value for your money and one of the best cafés in town, food quality wise.

Craving a burger? This is one of our prime burger restaurants in town. Serves several alternatives including vegetarian options. Can be crowded and you can not book a table in advance. They do however have take away if you want to eat the food in a park or something. Fairly good prices.

This is a lifestyle shop and a café in one! You can shop really cool things (some locally produced) and have a cup of coffee at the same time. The service in here is really great and the sisters who own the store choose the products very carefully.

Great place for a healthy juice or smoothie. This is a good idea if you've had a long walk and want to cool down with something else than fika. They also offer smoothie bowls, rawfood alternatives and great lunch sallads. They have a shop at Fredsgatan as well, at NK.

Favorite lunch spot in town, definitely worth the 30 minutes walk from the apartment. This is a restaurant that serves great vegetarian and vegan food inspired by the middle eastern cuisine. Warning: their "Linsbollar" gives you serious cravings.

Some of the greatest food trucks in town, you'll find at Magasinsgatan. I would advice you to eat a bao from Jinx food truck which offers super tasty asian food. They have both meat and vegan alternatives (the vegan one is to die for!).

If you are looking for a Nightclub that represents Gothenburg then Nefertiti is the place to go. The old Jazz club has hosted artist like Bruce Springsteen and the Rolling Stones for open mic sessions. It is always something happening at Nefertiti from Hip-hop to improvised Jazz music. Nefertiti got everything, and yes during weekends it is just a great place to go out for some dancing!
