Food Scene
The service and the prices were both reasonable. The menu had a good variety to choose from and all of our meals were very tasty. The cakes and desserts are spectacular! Service good, but a bit slow. Location is very pleasant, ambiance is one of my favorite in Budapest, art deco style inside and bauhaus outside.

Big pastry shop, cafe and ice cream parlour. It is located in the busy residential 13th district, a very Hungarian neighbourhood just by the Danube. Perfect place to get a refill before or after some exercise & strolls on Margitsziget!

It's a wonderful place to be, to drink one of the best coffees in Budapest. Great service, nice atmosphere, relaxing possibilities to sit outside. The coffee is absolutely amazing, warmly recommend to visit if you are in Budapest.

Kiskakukk is one of the best places to dine and to try most of the local stuff. Accompanied with a decent craft beer choice, everything here is amazing.

Margaret Island (Margitsziget) a green gem of Budapest. It provides a peaceful hideaway from hectic downtown Budapest with large green areas, flowery gardens, old trees, and lots of entertainment.
The island’s attractions include:

- a rose garden
- two musical fountains,
- a historic water tower,
- swimming pools,
- a water park,
- playgrounds,
- open air theatre and cinema, and
- some great clubs.

The shop and café is a tiny, of-the-wall delicatessen, which they duly prove with the platter named Baltazár Szendvics. The platter filled with hams and cheeses sliced in front of us, bread variations spread with lemon jam, herb butter and olive oil, fried egg and vegetables is a great and filling brunch option.
