This is our neighborhood's newest coffee shop. It is run by a local family, and their Chai is the best around. It is adorable inside and they have vegan donuts, bagels and other yummy bites.

There are a lot of Mexican restaurants around here but this one has the best Mexican food. I don't go for their chips but their tacos, horchata and burritos are the best. First you walk through a classic Mexican tienda / store and meat shop and the restaurant is in the back. Some days they have tacos for $1. Our favorite hole in the wall spot to get the best food.

La Tapatia Mexican Restaurant
There are a lot of Mexican restaurants around here but this one has the best Mexican food. I don't go for their chips but their tacos, horchata and burritos are the best. This is a beautiful Mexican restaurant with an ambiance, murals, hand carved chairs, and the food is great too.

This is our favorite Italian spot in the area! Vinny's is run by Chef Vinny himself and his wife Virginia. Vinny is from Italy and the food reflects Italian standards. The space itself has charm and unique Italian Family vibes. Enjoy!

This is possibly the smallest library branch in the county but it's my favorite, especially for kiddos. There is a little playground park next door and the ladies who work there are so sweet. There are also 10 cats who live outside there! For any reason, it is worth the walk across the train tracks and past the infamous fence of doors.

This is a fun and funky clothing store. Everything is finely chosen with funk and style from clothing, home decor, jewelry and fun finds. Check to see that they're open and head on in for a glance or a splurge. You won't regret it.
