Autostrada is a gem and has two locations, one on Main st and one on West Pender. Both equally awesome!

Amazing and authentic Malaysian/singapore cuisine. The restaurant is small so we usually pick up and eat it at home. Why favourite things are the vegetable fritters, fried key teow & roti prata, but im pretty sure everything is delicious. Please note, this restaurant cash only! There is an RBC ATM on the way from the house to the restaurant.

This is a hole in the wall, very affordable sushi joint just down the road with super fresh and tasty food. Great lunch spot!

This restaurant does not take reservations and usually has a line up, but luckily the restaurant is steps away from the suite, so if there is a line, you can put your name down on the list, go home or to a nearby lounge for a drink and go back to Acorn when you get the text that your table is ready! Try the gnocchi!!

For longer stays, I highly suggest heading to Whistler Village, which is a two-hour drive from Vancouver. Whistler is a year-round spectacular destination famous for it's epic skiing in the winter and vibrant village base all year round. So breathtaking and so much to see and do!

Take a ride up the gondola and stop by the restaurant to catch breathtaking views of the city. If you're feeling adventurous, take the steep hike up. Warning: this is not an easy hike!
Once at the top, there are lots of activities in summer including lumberjack shows, the "Birds in Motion" birds of prey demonstration, and (fenced in) grizzly bears!
