My Favorite Local Restaurants
I'm a bit of a foodie and love to eat! Here's a few places in the area I highly recommend.
Great brick oven pizza, cozy atmosphere and you're bound to spark up a conversation if you sit at the bar. I’ve literally never had a bad time here. Bonus- the kitchen stays open pretty late so if you're on a late night flight it's one of the better things to eat when you arrive.

Don't feel like making coffee? Walk a block away to this quirky, little coffee shop tucked away on the corner of President St and Rogers Ave.
The pastries and breakfast menu are simple but well done, always fresh and delicious. There's some fun little menu items too like coconut oil, which adds a bit of island flavor to a hot coffee.
The coffee prices are a bit high but I find it's the better tasting of those nearby and the food is priced right. Downside - no espresso drinks.

It's definitely no frills but don't let that fool you, the rice and sushi are of the highest quality and their soy sauce made in house is quite good (think less salty and more savory). Franking Park is a bar that has a speak easy style entrance through the back of Dutch Boy Burger. The menu is a continuation of the burger menu out front. The bar is the local hot spot on weekends with a lively dance floor, an open patio and a back bar. If you're looking for a place to go out or just have a drink that's nearby it's a good one to check out. The patio during the day is also a great place for kids.

The bar is the local hot spot on weekends with a lively dance floor, an open patio and a back bar. If you're looking for a place to go out or just have a drink that's nearby it's a good one to check out. The patio during the day is also a great place for kids.
Lincoln Station is just the place for a good, solid home cooked meal. There's even an affordable, family dinner for four with a whole rotisserie chicken, braised greens, roasted potatoes and cookies.
It's close to the museum and has free wi-fi so it makes a nice pit stop to grab a quick bite before or after a museum visit and a walk in the park. While delivery is perfect at the end of a long day and a night in.
