My Personal Favourite Restaurants/Bars in Kolkata
We are a family of Foodies and regularly indulge in great food and going out. I would like to share my recommendations which are collected and experienced by not just me but also by great food connoisseurs that I happen to know and often meet.
This is authentic Bengali food that you will find in many parts of Kolkata. The closest one from our property is at Park street. Their prawn Biryani is amazzingg. This is also owned by a family friend, so if you let me know you are going there, I could probably get you a discount. And be sure to be treated like Kings :)

Absolutely loveee the cakes and pastries here.
You also get amazing sandwiches, breads and small bites. But you have to have the pastries. They are just iconic. Also it's walking distance from our property

Amazing brewery of Kolkata. It's always packed with people. Great place to go on a weekend or even weekdays if you feel like listening to good peppy music and getting a good drink. You can even shake a leg here. You'll get a good experience of Kolkata night life!

Beautiful architecture. They also have a deer park inside(so I have heard). I went there a while back. The building is spectacular. This is very close to bada bazaar - a very interesting Chandi Chowk type market. I love the bedcover shops right outside marble palace.

This is a beautiful store for Indian artefacts, rare curios and handicraft. You get amazing silver jewellery and one of a kind show pieces that you can buy for your home, office, etc. You can also buy old photographs, paintings, sketches, etc. I'v often bought scarves and shawls from here. The products here are sourced from all across India and some from abroad. This is a store of 4 generations of the same family. They are happy to give our guests a discount. Do make sure you ask for it!
