The chicken sandwich is off the chain. The serve their side items in little crocks or skillets. The mac n cheese, sweet yams, and cornbread are amazing. Really nice outdoor area. Walking distance.

Neighborhood fav for 30+ yrs. They serve great diner food. Sometimes it's a little sloppy and probably not good for you but it tastes great. A great late night spot but call first. It seems like their hours or management may have changed during the last few years.

A neighborhood fav for 20+ yrs. It's located next to and in-between a bunch of other bars and restaurants. The food and the service are really good. Walking distance. Priced well.

A great blues bar. They bring in big acts and have been a staple in the community for 25+ years. Clean place with plenty of parking.

I haven't eaten the food yet, but the drinks are good and they have a large video arcade game room with all kinds of entertainment IE darts, mini-shuffleboard, cornhole, and all the entertainment is free.

Neighborhood fav for 30+ yrs. I can't say enough about this venue. I've seen a bunch of good acts and shared many good laughs at this place. The food is bar food, but decent. Walking distance from my place and close to several of the other recommendations on my list. Last show usually starts around 9 or 9:30. Early birds get preferred seating.

This venue has changed hands many times over the years. Not sure who owns it now or what all they offer. Historically, they've had all sorts of games, pool tables, darts, music etc... At one point, they were doing all sorts of concerts big and small. They also had a bowling ally but it might be gone now. If you're looking for something to do, it's close by and they also serve food.
