It's touristy and tacky but given you are 30 mins from the end of the UK, it's worth a visit in my book...

You are staying directly on the SW coast path - if you can, do the walk to St Ives. It is breathtaking - and almost all downhill from the house. And there is a coffee / ice cream / cream tea awaiting you in St Ives ....
