You'd better to book in advance your museums ticket!
I strongly advise my guests to book in advance by internet and official channels all tickets for roman sights (Coloseum, Foro, etc.). There are many scalpers in front of Coloseum and other sights, who trys to sell you ticket and guided tours to an higher price
