These are my favorite beaches within 30 minutes of our listing.
This beach is in a residential neighborhood by has a parking lot near a city park that is free! Waves are high here so it will be windy and you can see lots of windsurfers in the water usually!

Great beach in Old San Juan! Calm waters excellent for swimming, lots to see for snorkelers (rental nearby), clean bathrooms and showers, lifeguards on duty 7 days a week. Very nice shallow area for kids. A mix of tourists and locals.

A public beach near the airport and great views of San Juan! You will have to pay to park but there are benches and gazebos which are first come first serve.

A public beach near the airport and great views of San Juan! You will have to pay to park but there are benches and gazebos which are first come first serve.
My favorite beach as a child! It's gorgeous, has free parking and is very calm waters because there's a rock formation breaking all the waves which you can also climb on and explore easily. This is a very "locals" beach! There are also lots of foods kiosks making delicious fried foods typical of this area of Puerto Rico.

La pocita azul
My favorite beach as a child! It's gorgeous, has free parking and is very calm waters because there's a rock formation breaking all the waves which you can also climb on and explore easily. This is a very "locals" beach! There are also lots of foods kiosks making delicious fried foods typical of this area of Puerto Rico.
