Umananda temple is situated in Peacock island, in the midst of Brahmaputra river. Its the smallest river island in the world as well.
Though its a religious place, its a tourist attraction being the smallest river island.It occupies a very smaller area but one can enjoy the scenic beauty sitting there on the rocky island. The boat to Island costs only 50 rupees per head. There will be private operators as well.
