Local attractions for families with children
The Cotswold Farm Park is Adam Henson's (from Countryfile) Farm. It is brilliant for a day out with children. There is plenty to see and do, lots of animals to pet, tractor rides and bouncing pillows! It does get busy during summer weekends and school holidays but you can easily spend a whole day there. The new cafe is good and offers great lunch and dinner options for the whole family.

A firm favourite for the family and you can easily spend the whole day here. It does get busy when the weather is good so go early to avoid queing in the traffic to get into the Park. There are plenty of animals to see, the playpark is brilliant and there is a lovely train to ride on. The gardens are also lovely.

The King's Head Inn is one of our favourite pubs in the area for a quiet drink or lunch or dinner. The food is great, as is the location on the green in Bledington. Look out for the Bantam chickens in the garden!

Daylesford is a lovely (if a bit pricey) Farm Shop and Cafe near Kingham. It is a lovely spot for food though and there are plenty of walks to the back of the Farm.

Gin is definitely the drink of the moment and we love our local Gin from the Cotswolds Distillery. They run regular, pre-booked tours that introduce you to their distilling methods, topped off with a tasting session.

There is no better way to explore the countryside than riding the steam and heritage diesel trains of the Gloucestershire Warwickshire Railway, which powers along a 26-mile loop of track starting at Toddington, taking in the hills and hamlets of the North Cotswolds en route.
