Iffley has a small village shop, Rose Hill shops (with mini-supermarket, takeaways, cafes, is 10 minutes walk away); Templar Square shopping centre is 15 minutes walk with a larger range of outlets. But main shopping in Oxford in the centre - Covered Market in particular

Nearby sports facilities. For running, there is a park (Rose Hill) just behind the house, with outdoor gym equipment. Best local runs are along the Thames towpath either turn right at the lock into Oxford or left into the countryside, towards Sandford Village.
