Here are my recommedations:
For budgets, I used £, ££, and £££ as an idea of the price scale of each place.
£ - Just a stones throw away and quite possibly the best family run Pub in Bristol. Good simple pub food and the best Sunday roast in Bristol if not the world! (book Sundays and avoid Wednesday nights if you’re after a bite to eat-this is quiz night and it’s always so packed you’ll struggle to get through the door!)

£££ Casa Mia - for a very special occasion. Book a long time in advance. This Michelin Star Restaurant is one of the finest in the UK. If youre a foodie the tasting Menu with wine flight is worth every penny & like taking a trip to the theatre!
