If you want paella, you can't get much better than this. Being on the beach big plus. The paella is reasonably priced, I usually order it with a salad to start. Everything else is pricey.

Ideal place to go for a romantic dinner small, very good food and attentive service. The space is very special with it's stone arch, in the Gothic quarter. Not cheap eats, but worth it!

A reasonably priced gourmet hamburger restaurant. The hamburgers actually are very good and the service is friendly so for a quick meal, check this place out!

This relatively new place is great for brunch even if it's after lunch time. The service is friendly, lots of natural light especially in the big room at the end although it can get noisy there so I prefer the tables near the entrance or the bar. The Huevos Rancheros are delicious and I especially like the Açaí na tigela, since I haven't been able to get some since visiting Brasil.

Very trendy restauraunt at the back of the Filmoteca. The menu is varied and original. Service is usually friendly, they're usually busy.

Not to be missed! The food is beyond delicious, the prices are more than reasonable. The only problem is getting a table, or space at the bar, which at best will be cramped. Usually opens from 2pm ‘til 1 am, so try getting a table on off hours - between 4 and 7. My trick is to stop by a good hour or 90 minutes beforehand, get on the waiting list and then show up later. They always let me in!

Sightseeing
La Pinta, la Niña y la Santa Maria, were built here, yes Columbus' ships! One of the largest gothic buildings still standing that's not a church. The Museum is a dud, but check out the café to see it.

Beautiful Romanesque church from the 14th century just around the corner. Small gem of a cloister, definitely worth walking in if it's open.
