If you want a scenic day trip, but don't have time to leave the valley... this is an *awesome* way to get a taste of AZ's beauty!!! Extra points if you drive the entire, bumpy canyon road past Roosevelt to Globe! (It'll take you a full day!)

The Heard Museum is easily one of my favorite museums of all time. It's a fascinating, inspiring mix of Indigenous art/crafts and history. Absolutely worth a visit, and right off the lightrail!

Awesome spot if you like craft brews! Was established as a bar aimed at rock climbers and outdoor sports folk, but it's a great place to have a beer, their food is awesome and it definitely one of the best spots around for large groups.
