There is also a great lake near the park for fishing, row boat rentals, etc. Kids or not, Howarth Park is also at the foot of Annadel State Park, which is a very large natural area filled with hiking and amazing mountain biking! Spring Lake is at the center of the park, and its an amazing and very popular 2.5 (approx) mile walk. We are less than 10 minutes away.

Beautiful coastal park 30 min away. During the right time of year, head over to the Bodega Head for some whale watching. Also home to many Fish and Chips joints.
